Russia Ukraine War: The war with Ukraine is costing Russia, Ukraine is giving befitting reply
Russia Ukraine War Update
The Ukraine-Russia War is also rife with IT wars, armies fighting on the battlefield, and leaders of both countries sharing their own accusations and counter-allegations on social media. Attempts to capture losses and victories by both sides are hidden by the fog of conflict and the work of powerful propaganda machines.
Russia failed to Capture Major Cities
Nearly two weeks into the war, it is clear that Russia has failed to seize and control almost any major cities or population centers, including Kyiv's prize targets in the centre of the country and Kharkiv in the northeast. Odessa, an important port city to the south, prepared for an attack, but was repeatedly thwarted in its progress by the Russian land war in that direction.
War is Costing Russia from all fronts
The Ukrainian government regularly presents a picture of Russian losses that is staggering. These figures are hard to verify, but appear to be true by viewing the video and the circumstances.
Since the start of the war, Ukraine's military has claimed over 12,000 Russian soldiers killed. In its latest daily update on Tuesday, the military said it shot down or destroyed 48 Russian aeroplanes and 80 helicopters and captured or destroyed 303 tanks and hundreds of mechanised vehicles and cars. captured two Russian naval ships, including a warship, and blew up dozens of fuel tankers and mobile missile launching systems.

We are banning all imports of Russian oil and gas.
As Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his daily address to the nation on Tuesday, "Russia has not lost as many planes in 13 days to Ukraine in the past 30 years."
What intelligence Says?
Satellite imagery analysed by military analysts shows that around 950 Russian vehicles, including 140 tanks, were destroyed or damaged, said a research fellow for air power and technology at the Royal United Services Institute, a London think tank. According to Justin Bronk, the attack represents only a fraction of the force, but the fighting is still ongoing.
Russian General Killed
The intelligence wing of Ukraine's Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that Major General Vitaly Gerasimov, chief of staff of Russia's 41st Army, was killed outside the eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, making him the second Russian general to die in combat.
The Ukrainians do not release the running numbers of their own soldiers killed in action. But they often note down the names of those who died and confer military honours on them.
The Kremlin, on the other hand, forbade the media in Russia from calling the invasion a war—it is, in the phrase of President Vladimir Putin, a "special military operation," and officially, the war is going according to plan.
On the fourth day of the war, Major General Igor Konashenkov, the spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, admitted for the first time that there were "dead and wounded" Russian soldiers. But he offered no numbers and insisted that Ukrainian losses were "multiple times".
Pentagon Internal Report on Casualty
According to what US officials described as conservative estimates, Ukrainian troops have killed 2000-4,000 Russian soldiers. These officials, citing confidential US intelligence assessments, said that Ukraine had also shot down an IL-76 military transport aircraft carrying Russian paratroopers and shot down several helicopters carrying American anti-tank missiles and supplies supplied by Turkey. destroyed a Russian convoy using armed drones.

U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency Director Scott Berrier said that the intelligence community has “low confidence” in its assessment of how many Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine, CNN reports.
Combining the battlefield scene and the analysis of experts, it is clear that Russia has suffered heavy losses in Ukraine.
