Bitter Gourd (Bitter Melon)

Bitter Melon (Bitter Gourd) is an Indian vegetable purely because it originated in India. It arrived in China from India around the 14th century. ‌ Bitter gourd is mostly used in vegetables and other dishes in Asian countries.

Bitter gourd has been used as an Ayurvedic medicine to cure many diseases since ancient times.

Medicinal Properties of bitter gourd

The bitter gourd fruit is rich in nutrients.
