Basis Education Required for AME


  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Science from a recognized board.

Age Limit

The student should be at least 16 years and not more than 28 years of age at the time of admission in AME School. 

(There are no age restrictions for job, if you are medically fit you can work as an AME. Some airlines puts maximum age limits of 60 years but no restrictions from regulatory authorities.)

Physical Qualification:

To become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, a candidate must possess the following qualifications.

  • The AME candidate should have healthy eyes and not have color blindness
  • There should not be any physical deficiency or disease in the candidate.

  • For getting the computer number from DGCA, you have to apply online through the DGCA website at https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in with all the detailed information.
  • Appear for Modular Examine and clear all the required modules. Acquired the required practical experience.
