Paneer | Palak Paneer Recipe
Palak paneer is a popular vegetable that is also liked in other parts of the world, apart from India. Both spinach and paneer are rich in vitamins and minerals by themselves; after making both together, it becomes even more nutritious and delicious to eat. This dish, made by adding paneer pieces to spinach gravy, is very tasty. Palak paneer curry is liked by both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Palak paneer curry is mostly made in cold weather.
How to serve Palak Paneer
To
make Palak Paneer, spinach is boiled, and a gravy is made with spices. After
this paneer pieces are added to the gravy. If you want, you can also add
cream according to your preference.

Palak Paneer Ingredients

Cup spinach
200
grammes Paneer (cut into cubes)
2
teaspoon oil
1
teaspoon cumin seeds
one
bay leaf
1
teaspoon ginger, finely chopped
1
teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
1
medium Onion, grated
1
large tomato, finely chopped
salt,
as per taste
1/2
tsp red chilli powder
1
tsp coriander powder
Palak Paneer Recipe Step by Step
1.
After washing the spinach thoroughly, boil it in a pressure cooker or pan.
After cooling, grind it in the mixture grinder.

Make a paste by grinding the tomato, onion, ginger, garlic, green chili, red
chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder mentioned in the
ingredients required.

Heat oil in a pan, add paneer pieces, and fry till golden brown.
4.
After frying the paneer pieces, add cumin seeds and bay leaves to the remaining
oil in the pan.
5.
When the cumin begins to crackle, add the paste made from ginger, garlic,
onion, and tomato, as well as the other ingredients listed above. Fry this spice until oil starts leaving its
sides.
6.
Now add palak paste and fry it on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
7.
Now add the paneer pieces, mix well, and cook for 3 minutes.
8.
Switch off the gas, add a little cream, and mix well.
9.
Serve Palak Paneer with hot Naan, Paratha, Roti, or Pease Pulao; eat it
yourself and also serve it to others.

Note: You can also add paneer pieces to Palak Paneer without frying; paneer
tastes delicious when eaten raw.
To enhance the taste of palak paneer curry, you can also use Kasuri Methi or green coriander in it.
